Lake Burrendong State Park offers year-round attractions for fishing enthusiasts, nature lovers, bushwalkers, campers and picnickers.
The Lake Burrendong Holiday Park is located midway, and only an hour between Dubbo and Orange, on the western shore of Burrendong Dam. The caravan park offers onsite cabins, powers camping sites and unpowered free form camping, free from overnight highway noise in a National Park setting.
With Lake Burrendong being over three and half times larger than Sydney Harbour at capacity, it is also a haven for all water sports including skiing, sailing rowing and jet skis.
Or you can marvel at the parks natural attributes of the threatened white box ecosystem and share your holidays with our kangaroos, emus and echidnas that regularly come through the park.
Lake Burrendong is pet friendly however, there are no dogs allowed in the accommodation or amenities.
With the Lake Burrendong Arboretum next Door, and only 30 minute drive to the Wellington Caves, and a little under an hour from the Western Plains zoo, make Lake Burrendong your base camp destination.
